Stefany Layton (Bogotá, Colombia, 1990) is a visual artist holding a BFA from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. Her research centers on expanded painting, virtual environments, 3D animation, and the dynamics of the digital archive. Her work connects analog painterly tools with immersive environments and Web3 platforms (such as OM, Hyperfy, and SuperRare), examining the intersections of corporeality, landscape, and the temporal nature of synthetic imagery.
She has taken part in group exhibitions and curatorial projects nationally and internationally, with notable presentations including Simulacro y Simulación at Adrián Ibáñez Galería (Bogotá, 2026) and Poéticas Topográficas at Galería Carlos Orozco (Medellín, 2026). In parallel, she has developed digital art projects and three-dimensional motion sequences in collaboration with exhibition platforms such as Artpoint. She is currently exploring the interactions between physical material and emerging computational spaces.
